Taxi for Email is a workflow platform that helps marketers build on-brand email campaigns from intelligent templates using our world class email editor, and then export to their chosen sending platform.

Our Email Account Manager will help our customers move to a smarter way of creating their complex & unique email campaigns with a modular master template/build system at the core. 

Our customers have ambitious email teams and demanding marketing targets. They use Taxi for Email to produce some of the best email campaigns in the industry, and in record time too. As our Email Account Manager, you will provide the technical foundation needed to help some of the biggest brands in the world to create great email.

Your work week

You’ll sit within the Technical Success Team. This is a reactive team that provides technical email support to both customers and internal Taxi teams. Working with the Technical Success, Customer Support and Design teams, you’ll be an integral part of the team. 

Project managing the entirety of the email master template build process ensuring it runs smoothly, this in-turn helping our customers to make the best emails that they can within Taxi. You will also advise customers that wish to build their own master template, on the best ways to do so for use in Taxi.

You'll be responsible for

  • Providing solutions tailored to individual customers: looking at their emails needs, their existing templates and how we can make this possible in their Taxi master template.
  • Project managing the build of a template and internal timelines. Ensuring that there is clear communication with the customer and that deadlines for template builds are met.
  • Owning the email template lifecycle, from beginning concept through to final sign off.
  • Providing technical email industry expertise to both internal teams and our customers.
  • Test newly built templates before they are handed to Customer Support for final testing.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success Hero with any template queries/requests.
  • Work with Taxi Syntax (the language used in email templates which makes them editable in Taxi), assisting the Technical Success team with writing documentation and guidance.
  • Helping to write customer facing documentation and blog articles.
  • This role will report to the Technical Success Lead.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for email marketing, excellent attention to detail and have a willingness and ability to learn new skills. You’ll also be organised and self-motivated. The role will require you to be customer facing and collaborate with the wider Taxi team to deliver effective, high quality and creative solutions which always exceed the customer's expectations.

Your essential skills

  • Have previous experience in project management and have the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Have built or worked within an email template environment.
  • An understanding of email HTML and how to troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience dealing with customers and meeting their expectations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with account managers from other teams.
  • Have previously worked within/alongside a fast paced email marketing team and understand the pressure points a team of this nature may face.
  • You will have an up to date knowledge of the email industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Great attention to detail.

Plus if you have experience in these, that’s a bonus:

  • Experience in writing blog posts or technical documentation.
  • Previously used HTML & Liquid code.
  • Experience working with an email sending platform.
